On April 19, 2024, the study day “Pavese. The Poetic Works” was held at the Benedictine Monastery in Catania, home to the Department of Humanities.
Following the lecture-concert by Mariano Deidda, Dasha Obidina, and Franco Faccaneo, the event featured contributions from Liborio Barbarino, Luigi Belmonte, Antonio Di Silvestro, Clelia Martignoni, Laura Nay, Daniele Piccini, Elisabetta Risari, Antonio Sichera, and Chiara Tavella.
Finally, Andrea Schembari presented Guido Baldi’s new book, An Impossible Maturity: A Reading of Pavese’s Novels.
